Student Card Conditions
- Eligible for students from Primary to Post Secondary schools.
- Registration and administration of student cards are managed at school.
- Students must be in possession of the card every time boarding any SPTC bus for school.
- The card issued Rs2 fare only within a set timeframe.
- Students not respecting their student travel conditions will pay normal fare.
- Replacement of lost or damage student card is Rs25
Yellow Card
- Eligible for students with a school bus service on its route.
- This student card is used on scheduled school bus only
- The card is active from Monday to Friday. Between 05:30am – 8:30am and 01:50pm – 4pm only.

Red Card
- Eligible for both Public and Private school students that goes to school outside their respective zone.
- This card is regulated by the Ministry of Education and SPTC.
- This student card is used on public bus.
- The card is active from Monday to Friday. Between 05:30am – 8:30am and 01:50pm – 6pm only.
TVET Card
- This student card is used on public bus.
- This card is regulated by the Ministry of Education
- The card is active from Monday to Friday. Between 05:30am – 8:30am and 2pm – 7pm only.
Post-Secondary Card
- Eligible for post-secondary students
- This student card is used on both school and public bus.
- The card is active every day until 8:30pm
