The Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) has introduced various support systems to ensure commuters enjoys a positive travel experience. Clarifications to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) offers possible solutions to inconveniences a commuter might encounter during their travel.

SPTC endeavors to have all its Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETM) fully functional at all times. Buses cannot depart on a trip if the ETM is not 100% functional.

SPTC’s records shows that most instances where there has been malfunctions it has been intentional. The measures introduced are to ensure that your contribution towards the public transport service is accounted for and well-utilized. It must also be noted that the ETM is also dependent on the mobile network connectivity so there is a possibility of an ETM malfunction during your trip.

In the case of a malfunction and you have paid cash your account will be credited with the difference in fares. Please refer to our website or social media page for claims procedures.
